THERMOWELLS/PROTECTION TUBES
TTEC machined, drilled barstock thermowells protect sensing elements from the combined effects of temperature, pressure, velocity and corrosion. Available designs include General Use, Heavy Duty, Flanged, Weld-In, Socket Weld, Van Stone, Sanitary and Limited Space. Standard & Exotic materials such as 304SS, 316SS, Inconel, Monel, Hastelloy and HR160 are available with standard or rush deliveries. Abrasion and corrosion resistant treatments such as MVD, Stellite, Teflon and Kynar increase product life in difficult applications. TTEC Thermowells are manufactured to NACE and ASME specifications and to every major oil company, utility and contractor specification. TTEC metallic protection tubes are used to provide both environmental and mechanical protection for the sensing elements. Various grades of Stainless, Inconel, and HR160 can be specified in schedule 40 or 80 to suit application conditions. TTEC ceramic and metal-ceramic tubes provide protection in high temperature environments. Materials available are Mullite, High Purity Alumina, Recrystallized Silicon Carbide, LT-1, Zirconium and Hexolloy.
